MaxiFlake is the ideal bedding material for a range of animals including rats & mice, chickens, rabbits, pigs, goats, calves, and horses.

MaxiFlake is perfectly suited to provide various breeding facilities, research laboratories, zoos, domestic and other animal housing facilities, with a consistent and high quality source of naturally absorbent, all-Australian animal bedding.

Made from 100% natural softwood (Pinus radiata) & kiln dried, our pine shavings are soft and highly absorbent. They have an all natural odour control and have been screened and de-dusted to provide a cleaner, safer and drier environment. Bedding changes may be less frequent, and clean up is quick and easy.

Sterilised (gamma-irradiated) MaxiFlake bedding can be arranged upon request.

MaxiFlake is also widely used in plant nurseries when caring for bare-rooted stock.

And it is perfect as the “brown” additive to your composting pile. MaxiFlake adds carbon to your mix in order to balance the nitrogen content of the “green” materials,  whilst also assisting with airflow and heat production – all of which will help speed up the composting process.
