MiniFlake

MiniFlake has been specifically processed to provide a lightweight, smaller flake making it an ideal bedding for small animals such as rats, mice, ferrets, guinea pigs, reptiles, birds, and rabbits.

MiniFlake is perfectly suited to provide various breeding facilities, research laboratories, zoos, domestic and other animal housing facilities, with a consistent and high quality source of naturally absorbent, all-Australian animal bedding.

Made from sustainably sourced 100% natural softwood (Pinus Radiata) & kiln dried, our pine shavings are soft and highly absorbent. They have an all natural odour control and have been screened and de-dusted to provide a cleaner, safer and drier environment. Bedding changes may be less frequent, and clean up is quick and easy. Our powerful dust extraction process removes the finer, irritating dust particles.

Sterilised (gamma-irradiated) MiniFlake shavings can be arranged upon request.

MiniFlake is also widely used in plant nurseries when caring for bare-rooted stock.

And it is perfect as the “brown” additive to your garden composting pile. MiniFlake adds carbon to your mix in order to balance the nitrogen content of the “green” materials, and it also assists with airflow and heat production – all of which will help speed up the composting process.
